Getting new countertops is a three step process
Once you’ve been to our warehouse to choose your granite, marble or quartz slab from the huge selection, Arkadia Surfaces technicians will come to your home to template/measure your countertops. A template is a physical representation of your countertops which some might call a mock-up. It helps with exact fabrication of the countertops . Templates can be made of plastic or cardboard as they provide the flexibility needed. Not all countertops require templating, in that case our technician would create technical shop drawings with all the measurements needed. Measuring a countertop for fabrication takes much more than a tape-measure. Years of experience play into this process to make sure everything fits snuggly by foreseeing the aspects not readily available to untrained eyes.
After templating, the shop drawings are delivered to the shop manager for fabrication. The slab is carefully examined for potential imperfections and then transferred to the fabrication station for cutting. Using state of the art technology, our fabrication team meticulously cuts and polishes the countertops according to drawings and your new counters are scheduled for installation.
